Homemade Vanilla Pudding

Renegade Recipe Guide

Yield: Approx 3 cups
Time: Approx 20 minutes


  • 1/3 + cups flour (a bit more if you prefer it thicker for fillings or pies)
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ teaspoons salt
  • 2 cup milk
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Combine dry ingredients in sauce pan.
Slowly add milk and heat over medium heat
Temper egg yolk and add to pan.
Heat and stir constantly till thick, remove from heat and add vanilla.
Fill pudding cups, cover with plastic to avoid skin developing on the top.
